Merry Chapman has been competing in Country and swing dancing since 1996.  He has been a professional instructor since 2002.  Dancing with Julie Hein, placed 2nd at the World Country Dance Championships in 2003 and 2004 in the Silver Divisions with World Championships in Double Two Step, Polka, and West Coast Swing both years.  His ProAm students have consistently scored well in competitions, with his wife Connie placing 3rd at 2004 World Country Dance Championships .  Merry is a three term President of Swing 'n Country and teaches at Ballroom City in Villa Park.
